Diabetes leading to an increase in kidney failure

Fresh research from Sydney Uni shows that the increase in diabetes in Australia is having grave consequences for kidney health.
Diabetes is now the leading cause of kidney failure in Australia, coming at a huge cost to the health system, as increasing numbers of people require dialysis and transplantation. See more at http://www.abc.net.au/worldtoday/content/2014/s3977492.htm
