Greg O’Riordan
Director, Principal physiotherapist

Greg established Hurstville Physio Plus 23 years ago. Having grown up in St George he enjoys seeing many familiar faces in the practice. He has over 30 years experience as a manual physiotherapist in acute sports injuries and general rehabilitation settings here and in the UK. He is passionate about correct posture and effective strengthening to prevent pain and injury whether it relates to sports, work, adolescents or the elderly. His background in Sports Science and personal training compliments his exceptional awareness of body mechanics and exercise programming.

Greg believes that health and fitness is a life-long pursuit with many older people benefiting from his extensive work in Aged Care in the local St George and Sutherland Shire area.

He has treated Academy Award winners, Wimbledon champions, the London Royal Ballet and weekend warriors. He also had the honour of being the first civilian physiotherapist to attend a British Royal Marine Winter deployment to Norway.

He is a keen golfer and snow skier, with a vested interest in cricket.

Simon Xing
Senior physiotherapist

Simon has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney. He has been a valued member of the Hurstville Physio Plus Family since 2016, with previous expeience in a wide range of physiotherapy settings including rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and personal training. Since his graduation, Simon has persude further education in muscle energy and dry needling techniques. Simon prides himself on his hands-on approach and approachable nature.

Simon is a keen swimmer, having practised swimming from a young age. He also has strong interests in fencing, karate, and snowboarding. He enjoys travelling as well as sitting back with the latest movie that Marvel or DC has to offer.

Adrian Cerra physiotherapist working at Hurstville Physio Plus

Adrian Cerra
Physiotherapist

Adrian completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) and a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. 

He uses extensive hands-on treatment in addition to exercise prescription which he believes is the key to optimal patient care. His background in exercise and sport science enables him to integrate condition-specific rehabilitation exercises and global exercises to empower the individual to be their best.  

Adrian’s a family-orientated guy, always with his family and friends.  When he’s not with family he’s either playing or watching sport.  Currently, he plays soccer, goes to the gym and dabbles in endurance training.  He has been actively involved in over 10 different sports and played at representative levels in numerous of them!

Francesco Chu
Physiotherapist

Francesco completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University. Following several sporting injuries as a teenager, he experienced firsthand the immense positive impact that physiotherapy can have on helping someone become more active and return to doing what they enjoy. He has previous experience in private practice and has completed placements in various clinical areas (such as musculoskeletal clinics and orthopaedic hospital wards). He recognises the importance of not only treating an injury but also educating a patient to empower them and help them take control of their rehabilitation.

When he’s not working, Francesco enjoys eating with friends and keeping active with badminton and bouldering.

Kevin Li
Physiotherapist

Kevin completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney. He is passionate about helping his clients recover from their injuries and derives a great sense of fulfillment from seeing them make progress and reach their goals. Through his experiences working in a variety of clinical settings, Kevin is able to treat patients from all walks of life combining a hands-on approach to treatment with exercise prescription.

Outside of work Kevin enjoys playing frisbee, boxing, and going to the gym. He loves going out of Sydney to explore lookouts and going on coastal walks!

Lihua Yang
Client Services

Lihua has more than 20 years of customer service experience in global companies and community sector before joining Hurstville Physio Plus to pursue her interest in healthcare customer service. She looks forward to contributing further to the fantastic customer satisfaction here at Hurstville Physio Plus. She likes to be busy and will lookout for ways to improve efficiency and keep everything running smoothly.

When not helping her two sons with their activities, Lihua loves light reading and bushwalking.

Ashley Pham
Client services

Ashley has broad expereince in client relations in both the retail and hospitality sector. She is a great communicator and is always ready to greet you with a smile. With a keen interest in health, having recently completed a Bachelor of Medical Science, Ashley can be relied on to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Ashley is currently studying a Masters of Molecular Imaging Technology which keeps her very busy!!

Karen Lam
Client services

Karen has more than 10 years of business development experience in the tourism sector. She has a strong customer focus and takes pride in delivering superior customer service.

A chance conversation, when she was a client herself at the practice, fortunately led to her joining the Physio Plus family.  Karen’s calm approach and friendly nature is an asset to the team and our clients.

When she’s not working, Karen is busy mum of two who loves to spend time with her young family.

Sheena O’Riordan
Business manager

Sheena has over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare sector where her work has focused on quality improvement, adult education and promoting best practice in primary care.

She is actively involved in managing the day to day smooth running of the practice and loves to be in the practice to chat with our wonderful clients.

Sheena loves the opportunity to escape to the country or the coast and enjoy time with family and friends. Photographing her adventures or crocheting a cosy blanket keep her busy.
