Greg established Hurstville Physio Plus 26 years ago. He brings a lifetime of experience in the physiotherapy, health and sports sectors to achieve exceptional outcomes for his clients. He has a unique empathy and understanding of the impact that injury and disability has on individuals, from tissue damage through to the emotional overlay. This enables him to look through both side of the lens and objectively rationalise the best course of treatment and support for his clients' absolute recovery. Having recently completed the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Level 3 Sports Physiotherapy Program, his expertise in the assessment and management of complex musculoskeletal and sporting injuries has been further enhanced.
He has extensive expertise in treating neck and shoulder pain, lower back issues, hip, knee and ankle injuries. Greg believes that health and fitness is a life-long pursuit and is passionate about correct posture and effective muscle strengthening to prevent pain and injury whether it relates to sports, work, adolescents or the elderly. His background in Sports Science compliments his exceptional awareness of body mechanics and individualised exercise prescription. He has a special interest in cricket fast bowling analysis and technique correction, having been involved with both local and elite players.
He has worked internationally, treating Academy Award winners, Wimbledon champions, the London Royal Ballet as well as local weekend warriors. He also had the honour of being the first civilian physiotherapist to attend a British Royal Marine Winter deployment to Norway.
Having grown up in the St George area of Sydney, he enjoys seeing many familiar faces in the practice. He is a keen golfer and snow skier, with a vested interest in cricket.
