We provide physiotherapy for NDIS clients of all ages with chronic disease or physical or intellectual disability. Our physiotherapists play a crucial role in helping clients who are funded via the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) achieve their goals outlined in their NDIS plans.
We will work closely with you to assess your pain, mobility and function and design a treatment and rehabilitation plan that supports you to achieve your individual goals and enhance activities of daily living.
Physiotherapy for NDIS clients at Hurstville Physio Plus :
- Assessment and goal setting - understand abilities, limitations and needs to set realistic and achievable goals
- Rehabilitation and exercise programs - improve mobility, strength and overall functional independence based on individual needs
- Pain management – implement strategies to manage pain including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
- Functional training - focused on enhancing activities of daily living and functional abilities
- Gait training - improving or maintaining a person's walking ability, addressing issues related to balance, coordination, and gait patterns
- Mobility and assistive devices can be recommended and supplied to enhance independence, such as walking aids, braces, or wheelchairs
- Education and support – for clients, carers and families to understand the cleins condition and how to adapt home environment to best to accommodate the individual needs

- Coordination of care – collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide a holistic approach to care
- NDIS plan review – provide updates on progress, achievement of goals and recommended ongoing treatment.
